On October 9th at Stearns Scout Camp near Annandale, five of our Minnesota Valley RC members put on an Airshow and learning exhibition to tell 1300 Boy Scouts and an equal number of adults, about the excitement of radio controlled flight during the "Webelos Experience 2004". A mild sunny day allowed these eager spectators to see a lot of demonstration flying and exposure to our hobby.

Tom Barron, Hal Brothers, Mark Cater, Terry Hartke, and Don Roemhildt spent the day answering questions and flying.  This event is held every two years at about this same time and it is an opportunity for our members to have a lot of fun while sharing our enthusiasm and acquired knowledge and skills with these fine young people.

I'd would like to thank Col. Don for the photo's and story line. Also my thanks to those who participated in this event for the Scouts.

Several years ago my son and I were privilege to attend a similar event and although much smaller in scope, it did a lot to shape our interest in RC aircraft which lead to his long term interest in aviation and personal career goals. Thanks Again!
