Saturday the 19th of May the MVRC Fun Fly was held on a beautiful sunny and clear day.  Winds were light and variable and spirits were high.  The events were all conducted flawlessly by the Contact Director, Gary and his team of judges, with Pete being the lead accuracy coordinator.  The competition was close and the camaraderie was even closer.

A fine lunch of brats and all the trimmings was provided by Tom rounding out a real nice event.  It would be even better if in the Fall Fun Fly even more flyers turn out.  It's nice to have a lot of fun flying with other MVRC members, and even win some prizes.  Keep in mind this very event and plan to be there in September.  Gary will announce the date and it will be the last competition under his direction as his term as vice president is about up.

We are the champions! First Place expert, Hal; second John, third Mike R. The contest director, Gary with the winners' circle:  Mike, John, Josiah, Hal, and Logan. Pete advising Brian on the rules.
